Leslie – Lakeshore Update

On Saturday, August 8, 2015 Leslie Street between Eastern Avenue and Queen Street is scheduled to re-open to traffic.

Traffic Details

  • 3 lanes will be restored to vehicular traffic on Leslie Street between Queen Street and Eastern Avenue, resulting in uninterrupted traffic movement between Queen Street and Lake Shore Boulevard.
  • The curb lane on the east side of Leslie Street between Eastern Avenue and Queen Street will remain closed for ongoing utility upgrades and streetscaping activities.
  • Access to Memory Lane and Sears Street from Leslie Street will not be available due to ongoing work.
  • Access to Mosley Street from Leslie Street will not be available due to ongoing work.

Pedestrian/Cyclist Access

  • The sidewalk on the west side of Leslie Street between Eastern Avenue and Queen Street will be restored.
  • A minimum of one sidewalk on Leslie Street will be maintained during remaining streetscaping reconstruction activity between Queen Street and Lake Shore Boulevard.
