Leslie Street Closures at Lakeshore

September 18, 2013 in Latest Community News Blog, Neighbourhood Alerts Blog

Good afternoon,

As a reminder,  the first sectional closure of Leslie Street is scheduled to begin after evening rush hour tonight (Sept 18).  Leslie Street will be closed from Lake Shore Blvd to the middle of the plaza intersection on Leslie Street, in order  to upgrade underground infrastructure.

New temporary right-in and right-out accesses to the north side Lake Shore plazas will be opened for westbound access from  Lake Shore Blvd.   A number of safety measures will be placed on site, such as additional lighting, signage, and flag persons. Specific signage will alert motorists that they must yield to pedestrians and cyclists.

Please see the attached construction notice, or visit http://www.ttc.ca/About_the_TTC/Projects/Leslie_Barns/news.jsp for additional details of the upcoming work, including a routing change to the 83 Jones Bus.

Sincerely,
